Trees For Days

It's that time of year again and the festive season has returned, bright and perky with multiple splashes of greens and reds and golds scattered everywhere in sight. However, if you are looking for something a little different this year then please, continue reading.

As everyone in western civilization knows, the prestigious Christmas Tree is our absolute non-negotiable staple for Christmas. Traditionally large, green and bristly with layers upon layers of baubles, little drummer boys, candy canes and tinsel (perhaps some fairy lights if you were feeling extra daring), the christmas tree was laid out to us time and time again in plain.....well green, red and gold.

But if you are anything like us Moka Sisters, you'll want to do things a little differently and step away from the classic family tree. Whether you are entirely traditional or eccentricly modern, we've brought you an array of Christmas tree inspo from far and wide showcasing some of the most amazing and usual tree designs we could find.

Enjoy!

Hope you feel as inspired as we do to have a play around with your Christmas Trees. This year we'll be trying out the amazing tree dresses. Which one will you try?

Wishing you a very Merry Christmas! Love Moka sister's Amie & Cecilia xoxo.

The Founding Of Moka

Moka Creations was founded in mid 2013 by model/actress entrepreneur Amie Casey and actress/presenter/ interior designer Cecilia Arendsen. Meeting on the set of a horror film in production on the Gold Coast in the late hours of the evening, Amie and Cecilia quickly built a strong friendship, realizing they both shared a love for the creative arts and design industry and the endless opportunities in combining their creative skills.

Amie and Cecilia spent many months together, working on multiple creative projects and becoming quite inseparable as creative entities and friends. It wasn't long before they both realized that together they filled a much need niche in the arts and entertainment industries. Thus, the Moka Duo was born, quite fondly self named Moka Sisters.

Each Moka sister brings their own set of skills to the partnership. Amie, with a successful background in acting and modeling, having spent years on creative sets, naturally found a love and talent in fashion design and styling. Cecilia with her background of acting and presenting, having worked on sets the likes of hollywood films and successfully running her own interior design and event co-ordination business for several years, combined these loves into a passion for set design. Together the duo specialize in custom fashion and creative styling, set & interior design and event co-ordination.

Based in the Brisbane/ Gold Coast surrounds, Moka Creations works in collaboration with many local industry professionals including award winning photographers, production teams, designers, stylists and anyone in need of 'out of the box' creative services.

Although still a relatively new business, being just over a year old, Moka Creations has achieved many great things. Take a look at a quick summary of our work.
